A party with hip-hop in full effect came about through Concrete Grooves. The “Next Impressions” record release party in the dance floor/VIP area of The Conga Room, and KRS in the concert hall, all in the same night! The event was to feature a CD compilation by LA’s hottest underground producers and DJ’s. (See release page for all performing artists). We were blessed by Presto’s (Concrete Grooves) 1-2 magic, DJ Rylo’s (Sebadukes) soul-urban strut jams, DJ Argyle’s (Beat Hackerz) old-school sub ground electro cuts, Al Jackson’s (Juju/Soul Children) head-bop beats, Dusk’s (Root Down) brazilian vibes, and Mr. French’s (Kingsbread/One Way) dance hall set to burn up the dance floor.
